This work was inspired by the story of King Odysseus who travelled to the
Underworld in an ancient Greek epic poem attributed to Homer. The circular motif
is like a zoom-lens that provides the viewer with a close-up look of what is going
on between the roots of the Cosmic Tree of Life within the Subterraean Realm.
